Warren endured his first June race ever, for a good cause. The RAP River Run, in downtown New Port Richey, benefits the Runaway Alternatives Project (RAP) House, open to youths ages 10-17 who are runaway, homeless or in need of a short-term out of home respite placement for any reason.
Racing in June in Florida is semi-insane, but at least the race organizers had the good sense to start the 5-mile run at 6:30 a.m.
